Leeds United are reportedly chasing Wolves defender Danny Batth.

Leeds United have tonight brought in another new signing in Chelsea talent Izzy Brown – but another defender is being linked with a move to Elland Road.
Brown has come in as cover for Samu Saiz in attacking midfield, but fans have been keen to see another centre back arrive, especially with both Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson missing playing time of late.
With Conor Shaughnessy struggling against Preston North End on Tuesday night, some fans have been screaming for a defender to arrive – and one has been linked with just 24 hours of the loan window to go.
The Mirror reported this morning that Leeds are now rivalling Sheffield Wednesday for the loan signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth, who appears to be surplus to requirements at Molineux.
Batth, 27, was born in nearby Dudley and first arrive at Wolves in 2000, making his way up through the ranks to eventually become Wolves captain in 2015, whilst he also has more than 200 appearances for the club to his name.
The 6ft 3in centre back was somewhat phased out under Nuno last season, and is now surplus to requirements with Wolves in the Premier League, making a loan exit seem likely on Friday.

Leeds are allegedly keen, and fans have taken to Twitter to react to Marcelo Bielsa’s latest reported target, with many keen to get him in alongside Brown to complete the Leeds squad, suggesting that he is a great player and a clever addition if signed.
Others aren’t so keen, with some suggesting he would only be backup and others not interested at all, and it remains to be seen whether the Whites push through a deal in the next 24 hours.
