Leeds United have sent a message to fans about Kemar Roofe’s departure.

Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe sealed his surprise move to Belgian side Anderlecht last night, the club confirmed.
The Whites received £7 million for the striker who had just one year remaining on his contract.
Roofe featured on Leeds’ pre-season tour of Australia and finished as the club’s top scorer last season.
This left Leeds deciding to make the call to refund fans who had paid for a shirt with Roofe on the back.
It was an announcement which went down well with supporters. No doing so would have been a PR own goal.
Here is a look at the reaction…
Leeds fans are now hoping the funds gained from selling Roofe will be put to good use in the transfer market.
The deadline closes at 5pm on Thursday, and while there are some good free agents still available, Leeds have money, and should be looking to spend it sensibly.
