West Ham and Sunderland are interested in Leeds United striker.
Leeds United’s promising season yielded unwelcome developments on Monday as striker Chris Wood was linked with a move to the Premier League.
ESPN reported that both West Ham United and Sunderland have expressed an interest in the New Zealand international, and Leeds have told them he is worth £15 million.
That is five times the amount Leeds paid to sign Wood 18 months ago from Leicester City, and he has repaid them well, scoring regularly.

Wood is the team’s top goalscorer with 17 goals this season in all competitions, 14 in the Championship.
With Leeds sitting third in the table, interest in Wood is understandable, but at this stage of the season it would also be madness surely for the club to sell.
Sunderland are at risk of relegation themselves, and any shortcut Wood may take to the Premier League with them could be very short lived.

The obvious reaction therefore is that Leeds should try to keep Wood in order to maintain their momentum at the top of the Championship, but not all supporters are feeling loyalty towards the striker, and are tempted by the money.

Many supporters however are hoping to keep Wood right where he is, and would not entertain the prospect of selling him for £15 million.
