Leeds United fans have praised Ben White’s debut for them against Guiseley.

Leeds won 2-1 in their pre-season friendly yesterday, with White pulling on the shirt for Marcelo Bielsa’s team for the first time.

White looked comfortable on the ball, as he strode forward out of Leeds’ defence.

And many supporters have praised the performance of the centre-back.

Shackleton gave 100% for the full 90 tonight, Klich also present to play the ball and move thr game forward. Costa grew into the game and showed quick feet, White also impressive and bursts forward. Good conditioning game #LeedsGuiseley #LUFC

Leeds have signed White on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, and it was initially felt that he was likely to be a covering option.

However, the departure of Pontus Jansson means that there could be an opening for White to try and break into Leeds’ starting line-up.

White certainly has the ability in possession to be a hit at Elland Road and thrive in Bielsa’s team.

Leeds begin their season in around a month’s time, when they take on Bristol City.
