Leeds United came agonisingly close to winning promotion this season and fans are anxious that next year brings success.

A third place finish and play-off semi-final defeat was good progress on recent campaigns, and a big spending spree could help Leeds get over the line.

Owner Andrea Radrizzani has sought to dampen expectation surrounding this.

Recruitment is key to Leeds’ success next season, with limitations shown in defence and up front this season.
