One of the more confusing signings at Leeds United in recent seasons has been released from his contract.
The Whites signed Haidara on deadline day in 2016 but never formally announced the deal.
But he did pen a two-year contract, and he went into their under-23 squad, where he only made sporadic appearances, mostly as a substitute.
The defender is 24-years-old and his prospects of making it into Leeds’ first team never seemed realistic.

Haidara’s next move is unclear as he still remains a free agent.
The defender is 24 but he has still not played a first team game in his career.
Having Leeds on his CV should help him find a new club, but the Frenchman will have to drop down the divisions if he is going to start proving himself.
