Leeds United have been linked with an impressive move for Serbia international Aleksandar Prijovic this week.

Goal Cyprus report Leeds are keen on the striker, although PAOK are unlikely to want to sell their top scorer for anything less than his £8.8 million release clause.

Prijovic would set Leeds back substantially, but is he worth the money?

His recent goal record suggests so, he has 10 in 20 this season and a tally of 60 across the past four seasons, including a Champions League brace against Borussia Dortmund.

Prijovic is also World Cup bound, netting the vital goal which sealed Serbia’s qualification for Russia 2018, his first ever international strike.

Leeds’ main target man is Pierre-Michel Lasogga but he has missed time lately and is only on loan, with his performances dividing supporters despite a creditable goal return.

Prijovic could be an upgrade, although whether Leeds are willing to splash out the required money is another matter.
