Leeds United defender could be in line to start for the first team.

Aapo Halme starred as Leeds United’s under-23 side battled to a 3-2 win over Southampton.
The Premier League Cup clash was watched by first team manager Marcelo Bielsa and Halme chose a perfect time to impress.
The Finnish centre-back scored one and assisted another for centre-back partner Hugo Diaz. Striker Ryan Edmondson scored the winner.
Halme’s evening was better than Gaetano Berardi, who seemed to pick up an injury on his comeback as he limped off.
Pontus Jansson is suspended for Leeds’ next fixture away to Rotherham on Saturday.

Berardi’s latest knock should take him out of the reckoning to partner Liam Cooper and Bielsa could now choose to put Halme back in for his second ever Championship start.
The 20-year-old has looked good in his previous first team appearances selecting him in defence would free up Kalvin Phillips or a spot in midfield.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted to Halme’s performance…
