Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw is nearing a return to action.
Leeds United ace Adam Forshaw has returned to training as he steps up his return from injury.
The central midfielder has missed Leeds last five games, of which they have lost three.
Forshaw’s last appearance was the 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday on March 17 and fans are pleased he is nearing a return.
The former Middlesbrough ace was pictured at Thorp Arch yesterday.
The midfielder is close to being fit but BBC Radio Leeds journalist Adam Pope reports Forshaw is not expected to feature against Barnsley.
Fans have high hopes for Forshaw, and believe that he is the player Leeds must build their side around next season.
He has played nine games for the club so far but he is yet to savour victory in a Leeds shirt, with the two wins under Heckingbottom oddly coming without him.
Despite this Forshaw is expected to play a prominent role in 2018/19 and he is a contender to skipper the side.
