The Leeds United midfielder is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Leeds United fans are reacting on Twitter to news of a potentially lengthy lay-off for Yosuke Ideguchi.
The Japanese midfielder suffered a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament while playing for loan club Greuther Furth on Saturday, which could scupper his chances of a permanent move to the German side.
Signed for around £500,000 from Gamba Osaka in January, Ideguchi was by all accounts a shoo-in to make his country’s squad for the 2018 World Cup.
But a lack of appearances while on loan to Leeds’ affiliates Cultural Leonesa ultimately denied him a call up.

And a number of the Whites’ fanbase cannot help but feel a little guilty about the 22-year-old’s current predicament.
This is what’s being said…
Ideguchi has yet to make a competitive appearance for Leeds, with whom he is contracted until 2022.
Will we ever see the former Gamba Osaka midfielder in Leeds United colours?
