Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips is reportedly wanted by Manchester United.

Leeds United are pushing for promotion this season, and they will be hoping to keep their key players at Elland Road during the January transfer window.
The Whites are in a strong position under Marcelo Bielsa, sitting third in the Championship table and just two points off top-of-the-table West Bromwich Albion.
Some players are attracting interest though, and The Sun bizarrely claim that Manchester United want Leeds favourite Kalvin Phillips in 2020.
The Red Devils need midfield reinforcements, with Nemanja Matic past his best and both Fred and Andreas Pereira yet to really prove they’re of the necessary quality.
Phillips, 23, could be a solution for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and his backroom staff have been scouting Phillips recently ahead of a possible move.
United allegedly believe that Leeds will demand a huge price if they go for Phillips, which is understandable given that he only signed a new contract last month.

A move from Leeds to United would be hugely controversial, as Phillips – much like Alan Smith – is a homegrown hero at Elland Road, and joining their biggest rivals would be a major shock.
Some Leeds fans have been reacting, believing that the rumour is an absolute joke, and think that there’s no chance he would sign for United as he’s one of their own.
Others warned Phillips against such a move after never forgiven Smith for the same switch, even suggesting that they would want £250million for him as he is the best defensive midfielder in England.
