Leeds United defender could not prevent his side sliding to defeat.

Pontus Jansson came back to reality last night as Leeds United slipped to defeat to Fulham.
A week ago Jansson was captaining Sweden for the first time, and on Friday he featured in their win over Bolton, just their second victory on 2018.
Last night they went up against a strong Fulham team battling for automatic promotion and were simply outclassed.
Jansson and co were given the runaround defensively, but looked particularly poor on set pieces in the first half.

Fulham’s first goal came from a corner, and a frustrated Jansson was booked minutes later for dissent after teammate Ezgjan Alioski was fouled.
Jansson recently hinted at needing to be convinced about Leeds’ plans for the future, when quizzed about the club during the international break [Expressen].
The defender is a fan favourite, but his performances have fallen short of the high standards he set last season and there is uncertainty over whether he wants to be at the club next season.
Seeing him feature as part of a defensive unit easily taken apart last night provided more concern for fans.
Here is a look at how Leeds supporters reacted on Twitter to Jansson’s performance…
