Ex-Leeds United coach Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked by Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

Leeds United fans on Twitter have reacted to the news that their former boss Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked by Hibernian.
On Monday afternoon, Scottish Premiership side Hibernian opted to part ways with the former Leeds and Barnsley boss, as reported by BBC Sport.
During the summer of 2018, Heckingbottom was given his marching orders by Leeds, and not long after, he found himself managing up in Scotland.
That was in February of this year when, Hibs, who had not long after parted ways with the popular Neil Lennon, turned to Heckingbottom to continue the good work the Northern Irishman had done.
Initially, things started very well for Heckinbottom, but, just like rivals Hearts, it has been a pretty disastrous season so far for the Edinburgh club.

Over the weekend, Hibs were dispatched by Celtic in the Scottish League Cup semi-final, with the club also sitting one point above the relegation zone after 11 Premiership matches.
Leeds fans have provided a mixed reaction to Heckingbottom’s sacking, as things simply didn’t work out during his time at Elland Road, and now up in Scotland.
It remains to be seen whether Leeds fans will see him in the opposing dugout again because he would back himself to get a Championship gig, or even guide a League One side to the second-tier of English football.
But, of course, if the latter does happen then Leeds fans will be hopeful that they are in the Premier League by then.
