Leeds United fans have slammed Aston Villa’s John Terry and Derby County’s Jody Morris after they joked about Spygate at the expense of Marcelo Bielsa before the play-off final.

The Rams beat Leeds last Wednesday at Elland Road to book their Wembley showdown with Villa, who have also had their fair share of controversy with the Yorkshire outfit this season.

Nonetheless, the decision of the Championship duo to mock Bielsa has not gone down well with the Leeds faithful, who are now eager for that play-off final to come around.

The reason being is one of Terry and Morris, both of whom are assistants, will end up on the losing side and will find themselves spending another season in the second tier of English football.

As a result, they will come up against Leeds again next season, who will be eager to extract their revenge on either Midlands duo.

Derby, of course, had all the Spygate saga from January, whilst Bielsa allowed Dean Smith’s side to score an uncontested goal during their dramatic and highly-charged game in April.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Leeds fans on Twitter reacting to Terry and Morris mocking them:

Both Villa and Derby were in the playoffs last season, with the latter losing in the semi-finals and the former suffering a heartbreaking defeat in the final – both lost to Fulham.

Now, they will be hoping to take that step up to the promised land and join fellow promoted duo Sheffield United and Norwich City in the Premier League.
