The defeat to Wednesday at the Hillsborough Stadium means that Leeds are now fifth in the Championship table with 20 points from 11 matches.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are three points behind second-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers and four points behind leaders Cardiff City.
Leeds will return to action after the international break when they take on Reading at Elland Road in the Championship.
A number of Whites’ fans want head coach Christiansen to make changes for that match, stating that he should include winger Stuart Dallas, goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and midfielder Ronaldo Vieira in the starting lineups.
