The Whites have seen their ticket allocation for the Championship trip to Boro increased.
Leeds United are set to give Middlesbrough their biggest turnout of away fans this season after the Whites announced extra ticket allocation for the Championship game on Saturday, February 9.
The initial ticket allocation for Leeds fans was 3,000 but the league leaders’ official website confirmed that an extra 1,450 had been made available for their trip to the Riverside Stadium.
Leeds would have given Boro their biggest away crowd of 2018-19 even without the extra tickets, as their initial allocation of 3,000 would have dwarfed the previous turnout of 2,146 Sheffield Wednesday fans on Boxing Day (Gazette Live)
That match, in which Wednesday ran out 1-0 winners over Boro, was also the best attended of the Teessiders’ home games so far this season with an attendance of 30,341 recorded, another record that Leeds could help beat.

Last season, the corresponding fixture was at risk of being called off due to the adverse weather conditions but it was eventually given the go-ahead after fans helped clear snow and Boro ran out 3-0 winners thanks to a Patrick Bamford hat-trick (Gazette Live).
