Leeds United sanctioned Saiz’s exit before the January transfer window.

Leeds United supporters are bemoaning their side’s decision to loan out Samu Saiz in January.
Jack Clarke’s illness has left Leeds short in Saiz’s position, although it is not the Spaniard’s absence that seems to be the main concern for some of a Whites persuasion.
Saiz has not exactly torn things up since his hurried switch to Getafe, which, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, was fuelled by a desire to return home to Spain.
In fact, it is quite the opposite, with the 28-year-old having only started four of a possible 13 games for the Madrid-based side, and remained an unused substitute in five of the last seven.

Given that Saiz is registered with Getafe until the summer regardless of his impact there – which rules out the possibility of him playing for Leeds again this season, not that he would want that anyway – the diminutive forward is now in serious danger of festering.
And the chances of Leeds seeing the £6 million they agreed with Getafe as buying option appear to be fading fast.
The following Whites fans certainly aren’t hopeful…
How much can Leeds realistically get for Saiz and who do you think will buy him?
