Leeds United are thought to be looking to sign players in the January transfer window.

APOEL's Spanish head coach Thomas Christiansen looks on prior to the Europa League group B football match beetween Young Boys and APOEL at the Stade de Suisse in Bern on October 20, 2016.

Leeds United fans feel that Thomas Christiansen is too soft, after his public comments about January transfers.

Leeds were beaten by Newport County yesterday in the FA Cup, as their reserve players failed to impress.

Christiansen made a number of changes for the contest, and it backfired, as Leeds were beaten 2-1 by the League Two side.

Leeds’ fans feel that their FA Cup exit shows just how weak their squad is, and they have demanded additions are made in the coming weeks.

However, Christiansen was less committal about transfers in his interview. When asked if it was urgent that Leeds made signing, the Danish boss told the Daily Express: ”We need to speak and see what happens.”

And Leeds fans are not best pleased with what Christiansen had to say.

Leeds are yet to make a signing in January, but have been linked with a host of players.

The Whites are thought to be keen to invest, as they look to strengthen their side for the second half of the campaign.

Leeds are currently in sixth place in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Ipswich Town.
