Leeds United fans are worried about star man Samu Saiz.
Samu Saiz was outstanding once again for Leeds United in midweek despite the club slipping to another defeat.
Saiz created five chances in the defeat to Derby County, setting up Pierre-Michel Lasogga for the team’s only goal.
The Spaniard has been consistently impressive since his summer move from Huesca, setting the tone with a hat-trick on his debut in the Carabao Cup.
Leeds fans have becomes accustomed to their best players leaving in recent years, and there is a growing fear that they will be unable to hold onto Saiz if they can’t turn their slide in form around.
After a terrific start to the season, Leeds have lost six of their last seven games… relegation form rather than promotion.
Saiz cost Leeds just £3 million in the summer and has lived up to his fee and then some, putting in consistently dangerous performances despite the team’s horrendous run of form.
Manager Thomas Christiansen is under pressure to turn results around, and needs the rest of his players to start matching the performance levels and effort which Saiz is putting in.
