Jordon Mutch, an outcast at Crystal Palace, is a surprise transfer target for Leeds United.

Jordon Mutch was always going to be a name that left Leeds United supporters divided. According to The Sun, The Whites are attempting to convince Crystal Palace to part with a player they signed for £4.7 million two-and-a-half years ago for around half that price.
And there’s a reason Leeds believe they can strike a knock-down deal. After all, Mutch has made just 11 Premier League starts for Palace and featured in only 50 minutes of Premier League football last season before failing to impress when joining Reading on loan in January.

Furthermore, the report adds that new Palace boss Frank de Boer has little interest in making Mutch part of his first-team plans.
On the other, Mutch is only 25 years of age and has plenty of time left to realise his potential. It’s not that long since he was shining in the Premier League, scoring seven largely spectacular goals for Cardiff City during their short-lived stay in the top flight in 2013/14.

Therefore, although the productivity has dried up in recent seasons, a fully fit and firing Mutch has the ability to add a much-needed goal threat from central midfield.
However, it’s fair to say many Leeds supporters don’t think Mutch about their latest transfer target.
