Leeds United face West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon – and Charlie Cresswell may be primed for a start.
The Whites host West Ham in a key game but will have to do it without a number of players.
Central defenders Diego Llorente and Robin Koch are both out injured, as is striker Patrick Bamford.
Pascal Struijk is suspended and Luke Ayling is a doubt, so Leeds are somewhat short of defensive options.
Cresswell left out of Under-23 clash
Leeds Under-23’s took on Blackburn Rovers on Friday night, winning 4-3 in a topsy-turvy encounter.
Defender Charlie Cresswell was not only left out of the starting XI, but left out of the squad altogether.
The 19-year-old is a regular in Leeds’ Under-23’s, captaining the side to the Premier League 2 Division 2 title last season.
Cresswell has only appeared for Leeds once at senior level, and that came in the EFL Cup last year.

Leeds fans think Cresswell will face West Ham
With Cresswell now left out against Blackburn, fans think the teenager is primed for a Premier League debut with Leeds.
Some think his omission all but confirms that Cresswell will partner Liam Cooper in the heart of the Leeds defence.
Whilst that’s a big step up, some fans think Cresswell can absolutely handle it and become a star at Elland Road.
