2021 is upon us, and for football fans, that means a potentially exciting month is now on the cards.

January 1st means the transfer window is now open, and supporters will hope to see their clubs bring in quality new signings.

Leeds United fans are no different; they have enjoyed a promising return to the Premier League, and their summer signings have shown real quality.

Raphinha and Rodrigo have added quality going forward, whilst Robin Koch showed his ability at centre back before picking up an injury.

Victor Orta may be looking for another creative player though, either to play out wide or centrally with Pablo Hernandez approaching 36.

Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul was heavily linked with Leeds over the summer, as Fabrizio Romano reported talks were being held over a deal potentially worth €35million (£31million).

No deal was struck for the Argentinian in the end, but the 26-year-old has picked up three goals and two assists in 13 appearances for Udinese this season.

With the January window now open, Leeds fans have been taking to Twitter to bombard De Paul with messages, telling him to join the club this month.

These are just some of the tweets sent to De Paul, urging Leeds to announce his signature and get the deal done at last.
