Leeds United fans angrily respond to EFL tweet

After the furore over Pontus Jansson’s ban, it probably was not wise for the EFL to direct a tweet to Leeds United fans last night.

The Whites beat Ipswich Town last night 2-0 at Elland Road and reclaimed their place at the top of the Championship table.

Following their successful evening, the EFL’s Twitter account sent a message to Leeds supporters.

This was not well received after the EFL had banned centre-back Pontus Jansson for the game, after he criticised the refereeing in Leeds’ recent draw with Brentford.

This was like a red flag to a raging bull, posting an open ended question to still a still angry fanbase.
