Who will leave and who will join Leeds United before Thursday’s deadline?

Leeds United’s display against Bristol City was yet another message at what Marcelo Bielsa can achieve with the current crop of players he has at his disposal.
But that was one game and with Leeds’ already thin squad, it may just get thinner if rumoured transfers go through in these coming days.
Bielsa has already made it clear that he ‘wouldn’t be happy’ if star striker Kemar Roofe were to be sold to Anderlecht, as quoted by BBC Sport.
Added with that, back-up goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has also departed, with the most-talked-about transfer being that of Pontus Jansson to Brentford.
Simply put, the transfer decisions that Leeds make before Thursday’s cut-off point could make or break their upcoming Championship season, which has started off in a near-perfect manner.
Will another centre-back join the club? And if Roofe does leave then surely Leeds have to replace him because he is a key player for Bielsa.

Even with the likes of Jansson and Roofe, Leeds perhaps needed that extra defender and forward, so now that the club can now lose them both, it would be daft by the board if fresh legs don’t walk through the doors of Elland Road.
Brighton loanee Ben White proved against Bristol City that dipping into the loan market this summer is worthwhile, as that could be a great source for Leeds to enhance their squad.
Leeds don’t need an array of players signing for them, but if those in the boardroom can help Bielsa out with 2-3 defensive and attacking players then it could just prove to be the difference in them earning promotion or staying in the Championship.
