Alex Mowatt has joined Barnsley from Championship rivals Leeds United.
Leeds United duo Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reactions to the departure of Alex Mowatt.
Mowatt has left Leeds to join Championship rivals Barnsley on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

“All the best to the G @alexmowatt_ time for you to rip the champ up man!” Phillips wrote on Instagram.

Mowatt started his professional club football career at Leeds and made over 100 appearances in the Championship for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The 21-year-old midfielder struggled to play regularly for the first team under head coach Garry Monk this season, but there is no doubt that he is a player with a lot of potential.
With Barnsley challenging for the playoffs this season, the youngster has made a good decision in moving to Oakwell.
It could take a while for the youngster to get back to the form he showed for Leeds a couple of years or so ago, but the Tykes’ fans should be patient.
Barnsley are eighth in the Championship table at the moment with 41 points from 27 matches, just four points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
