Pontus Jansson has made seven appearances for Leeds United so far.

Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told the Fotboll Skanelen podcast that he has been surprised by the standard of football in the Championship.
Jansson joined Leeds from Torino on loan, and the Swedish defender admits that he had no idea what to expect when he agreed to move to Elland Road.
However, after getting to grips with English football, he has been pleasantly surprised by the quality of opposition teams.

“I am surprised by the standard of football in the Championship,” he said.
“I didn’t know what to expect, but I am impressed. There are a lot of good teams and players.”
Despite being impressed by the standard of the Championship, Jansson has still adapted to English football with ease.

The 25-year-old centre-back has made a massive difference to the quality of Leeds’ backline, and he is already a fans’ favourite at Elland Road.
Jansson has played seven times for Leeds, and the Whites have won on five of those occasions.
Jansson looks likely to start in Leeds’ next match, which comes against Derby County at the weekend.
