The injury appeared to be to the centre-back’s knee, although it is too early at this stage to assess if there is any real damage.
Jansson was playing in place of Victor Lindelof, who was rested ahead of his imminent move from Benfica to Manchester United.
Leeds United’s Pontus Jansson scores
This was Jansson’s final game of the season before a summer break, ahead of joining up with Leeds for pre-season next month.
The Swede was a key player for the Whites last season, earning a permanent move from Torino after a superb loan spell.
Whites supporters will be crossing their fingers the injury is only minor and does not affect the club at all heading into next season.
