Pontus Jansson has made an impressive start to life at Leeds United.

Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told Aftonbladet that he is still waiting to discover the severity of his injury problem.
Jansson was taken off at half-time during Leeds’ last match against Bristol City, after damaging his thigh.
The Swede is now awaiting news on how bad his injury is, but he is hoping that it does not rule him out for too long.

“I have no idea yet how serious it is. I feel a bit in the thigh… Hopefully, it’s quick. I certainly hope [it’s] not [serious].”
Leeds went on to lose 1-0 against Bristol City without Jansson, and that highlighted his importance to the team.
The Swede has made Leeds’ defence look much stronger since arriving on loan from Torino.

The 24-year-old’s wholehearted approach, combined with his committed defending has made him a fans’ favourite at Elland Road already.
Jansson has been part of Leeds’ team, which has won four of their last five matches to move up the Championship table.
If Jansson does miss Leeds’ game against Barnsley on Saturday, Liam Cooper and Kyle Bartley look likely to start at centre-back.
