Leeds United defender has just responded to Liverpool player on Twitter

Leeds United left-back Barry Douglas has sent a message to Liverpool star Andy Robertson on Twitter.

Robertson has posted a photo of him with the Premier League trophy that Liverpool won this season and the Champions League trophy that the Reds clinched during the 2018-19 campaign.

Douglas knows the Liverpool left-back from their time together at Queen’s Park and for the Scotland national football team, and the Leeds star has responded to his post.

According to WhoScored, Douglas made six starts and nine substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back also played once in the EFL Cup and once in the FA Cup for the Whites this campaign, according to WhoScored.

Meanwhile, Robertson has made 33 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season, scoring two goals and providing 11 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

The Scotland International also scored one goal in eight Champions League matches for the Merseyside outfit this campaign, according to WhoScored.

Leeds will play in the Premier League next season after clinching automatic promotion from the Championship.
