Odds are shortening on Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds United doing a deal for Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing.
The Whites are now priced at 8/1 to sign Downing with SkyBet, having been at 25/1 just 24 hours earlier.
The Mirror reported last week that Middlesbrough are content to let former Liverpool winger Downing leave this transfer window, just 18 months after re-signing with the club.

Leeds have dropped to third favourites to sign the winger, ahead of Sunderland at 9/1, who entered this week as second favourites.
Crystal Palace are currently odds on at 5/6 to sign the 32-year-old, with his former West Ham boss Sam Allardyce on the lookout for new signings. West Ham themselves are in the running at 5/1.
