Leeds confirm signing.

Leeds United have confirmed the signing of young Ajax defender Pascal Struijk.
Struijk, 18, joins Leeds from Ajax’s academy where he had just six months remaining on his contract.
The teenager is a centre-back and is the second signed this month, following Finnish defender Aapo Halme.
Leeds report that Struijk could go straight into the under-23s squad to face Birmingham this Friday.
Be encouraged
While many Leeds fans will be frustrated that they are not signing a first team player, they should still be encouraged the club has managed to attract Struijk.
Managing to convince a player to leave Ajax to join Leeds shows the club is moving in the right direction, even if it is not a move which immediately benefits the Whites’ first team.
If he can crack the first team within two years, then the completion of this deal will be looked back on as a big moment.
