Leeds United have announced their latest summer signing, Jay-Roy Grot.

The 19-year-old Dutch under-21 international joins from NEC Nijmegen.

Leeds acted quickly to sign Grot, concluding the deal after he passed a medical yesterday.

Grot is a powerful young striker, who is pictured with the Leeds shirt below.

Leeds sold Chris Wood this week to Burnley for £15 million, and will face the Clarets in the next round of the Carabao Cup.

He was followed out of the club by Liam Bridcutt, sold to Nottingham Forest, while Souleymane Doukara was released.

He may not be the only striker Leeds sign before the transfer window closes, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting they are continuing to explore their options.
