Leeds United and Aston Villa battled to a 1-1 draw at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

The game centred around two controversial goals, with Leeds allowing Aston Villa to walk the ball in after their goal was scored with an opponent lying injured.

The result really didn’t count for much, other than Leeds ending Aston Villa’s 10 game winning streak, with both teams already qualified for the play-offs.

Leeds goalkeeping coach Marcos Abad reacted on Twitter to the dramatic game.

He said that he now hopes for a less chaotic path ahead for Leeds, commenting that he hopes the ‘bad things’ are over.

Leeds are likely to finish in third position in the Championship when the season is over next weekend.

As it stands this will set them up for a play-off semi-final against Derby County.

Aston Villa or West Bromwich will await the victors at Wembley.
