Neil Warnock takes on Leeds United in Wales tomorrow night.

Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen has suggested on the club’s Facebook page that Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock will have extra motivation when the Whites visit South Wales tomorrow.
Christiansen’s side travel to the Welsh capital on the back of a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town which kept them at the summit of the Championship.

However, Leeds are only top on goal difference ahead of Wolves and the Bluebirds in second and third respectively and victory would see Warnock’s side leapfrog them.
The veteran manager spent 14 months in charge of United until parting company with the Yorkshire club in 2013, with Leeds only five points clear of the drop zone at the time.
And Christiansen, 44, is confident that his counterpart will have the added incentive of wanting to get one over on his former side.

Asked on Leeds’ Facebook page whether Warnock had extra incentive to win, Christiansen responded: “For sure. He’s going to do everything he can to motivate the players for this game.
“It’s a game against his old team and for sure he’ll want the three points. He’ll push his players to give more than they have to take this important win.”
Leeds have a huge next five days or so. After visiting Cardiff, the Whites then have another tricky away trip in the form of Sheffield Wednesday in a Yorkshire derby, but emerging from both games with two wins would be huge for their promotion hopes and reaffirm the fans’ belief that they are the real deal this season.
