Leeds United and Celtic both want to sign Ardon Jashari as they prepare to battle Arsenal in the race for the Luzern midfielder.

That’s according to Sky Germany, who claim that the race for Jashari’s signature is really heating up.

They suggest that Luzern ace Jashari is dealing with a number of offers that have come his way.

Bundesliga duo RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are very keen on luring Jashari to Germany.

Leeds United are interested too whilst Napoli and Celtic have joined the race too, leaving Jashari with a major dilemma.

The move from Switzerland to Germany has worked well for a number of players including Yann Sommer, Denis Zakaria, Djibril Sow and Granit Xhaka over the years.

Yet Napoli are pushing for the Serie A title, Leeds can offer a route to the Premier League and Celtic would allow him to play in Europe and challenge for titles – all whilst being on show for Premier League clubs.

All of the interested clubs have their benefits for Jashari and the youngster now faces an enormous decision ahead of the January window.

Who is Leeds and Celtic target Ardon Jashari?

Jashari, 20, has emerged through the Luzern ranks having first joined the back back in 2013.

Now a first-team regular, Jashari has now made 40 first-team appearances for Luzern, bagging two goals and seven assists.

Jashari has even picked up two caps for Switzerland at senior level, with one of them coming at the World Cup in Qatar.

Sky Germany claimed in October that Swiss sources have been telling them that Jashari is capable of becoming a player like Jude Bellingham.

That’s enormous praise and should get Leeds and Celtic fans excited about a potential January deal for the midfielder.

Reports earlier this season even suggested that Jashari is a target for Arsenal, who could look to nurture him behind Granit Xhaka.

That could appeal to Jashari but Leeds and Celtic will now hope to make convincing offers to snap up such an exciting talent.
