Leeds United have been linked with a move to bring back Jack Harrison.

Leeds United are interested in re-signing Jack Harrison, report the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Whites’ preference is for a loan deal.

Now if Leeds do want to bring Harrison back, it would be in the club and players’ interest to get a deal done in time for pre-season.

Harrison joined at the end of July last summer, missing out on pre-season under Marcelo Bielsa.

He of course benefitted from time working with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but this time there should be extra incentive for Leeds to bring Harrison in early.

Not only is his place in the Leeds team already established. But he missed out on getting time to gel with his teammates ahead of the season.

Harrison’s time at Leeds last season means he is one player who could sign for Leeds late, and still settle straight in.

But he could be so much better by getting his future sorted out ahead of July, and being able to give the Whites his full focus for a month before the season begins.

So much fitness and tactical work is undertaken during pre-season, and Harrison needs every edge he can get to reach the top.

It’s in Leeds’ interests to give him the pre-season he missed out on at the club last season, in the hope it can make him even better.
