Jesse Marsch has only just arrived as Leeds United manager but has already received an enormous boost without even taking charge of a game.
Leeds made the emotional decision to part ways with boss Marcelo Bielsa on Sunday.
An inspirational figure not just around the club but also the city of Leeds, Bielsa took the Whites on an incredible journey in his three-and-a-half years at the club.
After a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds had taken just one point in six games. Sadly, Leeds felt it was time for the Bielsa story to end.
Marsch was given the call to replace Bielsa, returning to management having lost his job at RB Leipzig in December.
Marsch has proven himself to be an exciting coach based on his work at Red Bull Salzburg, but needs to get his career back on track.
That truly starts against Leicester City this weekend, with Marsch looking to dispel comparisons to Bob Bradley and, uh, Ted Lasso.
Just over 24 hours into Marsch’s time as Leeds boss, he has picked up a major boost.
Leeds need every bit of help they can get in the battle against relegation, and Saturday’s opponents Leicester have just delivered one.

The Foxes went away to Burnley on Tuesday evening and appeared to be heading towards a 0-0 draw.
Inside the final 10 minutes though, James Maddison curled a long-range beauty past Nick Pope to give Leicester the lead before Jamie Vardy added a late second.
That’s a big result for Leicester, but Leeds will feel they have done them and Marsch a huge favour.
That was one of Burnley’s games in hand on Leeds, but that defeat leaves them two points behind Leeds with just one game in hand left to play.
It’s so tight at the bottom of the Premier League table that results like this could be key, and Marsch will be relieved that he will start his first game as Leeds boss without having been overtaken by Burnley.
