Thomas Frank has hailed Brenden Aaronson even after his Brentford hammered Leeds United 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites headed down to West London on Saturday, returning to the scene of their final-day heroics from last season as they avoided relegation.
Leeds won that day but it was a much different story this time with Ivan Toney running riot.
Toney bagged a first-half brace before Luis Sinisterra pulled one back for Leeds.
Toney had his hat-trick with a sumptuous chip and whilst Marc Roca again gave Leeds hope, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa sealed a 5-2 thrashing for Brentford.

Leeds haven’t really built on their 3-0 win over Chelsea, taking just one point from three Premier League games since then.
The Whites had a slightly underwhelming end to the transfer window and Jesse Marsch really needs to get his side back on track soon.
Leeds did do some great work early in the window though and nobody sums that up better than playmaker Aaronson.
Leeds chased a deal to sign Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg in January but couldn’t convince the Austrian side to sell.
A move once Marsch became manager just made too much sense; the pair worked together at Red Bull Salzburg and a reunion was just perfect.
Leeds struck a deal worth almost £25million for Aaronson almost immediately after 2021-22 season came to an end.
The American has already shown huge promise in the Premier League, picking up a goal and an assist in six games.
Aaronson’s incredible work rate and energy has really caught the eye and Leeds can look forward to a great future with the 21-year-old in their side.
Aaronson is now earning praise from other Premier League managers with Brentford boss Frank hugely impressed.
Frank, as quoted by 90Min, remarked ‘what a player’ Aaronson is, claiming that the midfielder is a ‘top buy’ for Leeds.
“I think they’re really good,” said Frank. “With a narrow front four combining and tricky players, good players. Aaronson – what a player, what a player, that’s a top buy for Leeds. So I think we defended that a little bit bad, but also credit to Leeds,” he added.
We can only anticipate more plaudits coming Aaronson’s way in the future, and Leeds will just hope that they don’t receive offers for him down the line!
