Potential Leeds United signing Reece Wabara has a lot to live up to.

Reece Wabara is the latest name linked to Leeds United, potentially becoming the club’s seventh summer signing.
A report in today’s (20th August 2016) The Sun newspaper claims the Whites are closing in on the right-back, who won promotion with Wigan Athletic from League One last season.
Wabara, 24, is a free agent after allowing his contract to run down, and his attacking approach could be a real asset for Garry Monk’s side.

The defender has a lot to live up to, after being compared to former Champions League winner Dani Alves earlier in his career by a former teammate.
Former Doncaster pal Dean Furman told The Mail last year: “Reece is very attack-minded. He’s very much in the Dani Alves mould because he’s very quick and loves to get forward. Defensively, he’s strong.
“He has lovely ability, loves to beat a man and puts good deliveries into the box. He had quite a few assists last season and if I’m honest, he should have had many, many more.
“He was one of the top performers at Doncaster and he has progressed an awful lot. He has worked extremely hard on his game and is becoming more consistent in his performances.”

Furman added that he believes Wabara is capable of playing in the Premier League.
Leeds are themselves desperate to make it to the top flight, and former Manchester City trainee Wabara will strengthen their options.
If Wabara proves to be half as good as Dani Alves, he could be an outstanding addition for Leeds.
