Leeds boss gave little away over striker.

Leeds United’s defence cost them against Wolves but going forward they offered very little as they suffered a 4-1 defeat.

Kemar Roofe was isolated in attack while Pierre-Michel Lasogga was missing from the squad.

Summer signing Caleb Ekuban came off the bench against Middlesbrough at the weekend but was not selected to start against Wolves either.

He was a second half substitute at Molineux but could not prevent the defeat.

Head coach Thomas Christiansen was asked by BBC Radio Leeds after the match if he would give Ekuban his first league start at the weekend, but gave little away.

He said: “Everything is possible. Ronaldo will be out so we will make at least one change.

“We will make the change and we are going to try to make the best decision.”

Ronaldo Vieira was sent off in the defeat, after picking up two bookings, and will miss the game against Barnsley at the weekend.

Christiansen was in no mood to make any commitments, but could be pushed into a tactical readjustment rather than just a like for like swap if he wants to get Ekuban involved.

Leeds slipped to 10th place as a result of the loss, and are three points off the play-off places.
