Leeds United could come up against their former hitman on Tuesday.

Speaking to a press conference, Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen has commented on the prospect of seeing his team line up against Burnley hitman Chris Wood tomorrow.
The Championship leaders visit Turf Moor for a third-round League Cup clash which could throw up more than one reunion.
Charlie Taylor, who began his career at Elland Road, joined the Clarets on a Bosman from Leeds in July, before Wood followed his old team-mate to the Premier League side in a £15 million move.

By virtue of the fact he has scored twice in three top-flight games for Sean Dyche’s side, Christiansen does not know whether Wood will be risked in the Carabao Cup, but admits he will be courteous toward the New Zealand international if their paths do cross.
Wood started three league games under the 44-year-old this season before his move to Lancashire, scoring once.
He told a press conference: “I don’t know if he will play, but if he plays and I see him then I’ll say hello to him. He’s a very good player.
“He’s a goal-getter and he has started well in his team and if he will play then we know which type of player he is.”

So far, Wood’s move to Burnley is looking like a win-win for all three parties.
The 26-year-old is scoring goals in the Premier League, Burnley are getting a good return for their money and Leeds have found a way in which to excel without their former talisman, who scored 30 goals for the Whites last season under Garry Monk.
United were the highest goalscorers in the Championship until this past weekend in a statistic which perfectly illustrates that although Wood is a fine hitman, his exit has not been detrimental for Christiansen’s side.
