Surely Kemar Roofe deserves to be ahead of Pierre-Michel Lasogga in the list of Leeds United strikers.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga returned to Leeds United training on Wednesday following a month-long absence with a calf injury.
The German striker has five goals in 10 Championship games for Leeds since joining on loan from Hamburg, but he’s been out of the picture since November 4 and Thomas Christiansen would send a terrible message to the squad – and one man in particular – if Lasogga is recalled to the first XI.
United host Norwich City at Elland Road on Saturday and Kemar Roofe should be furious if he has to vacate that number nine role to accommodate his team-mate’s return again.

Caleb Ekuban’s injury at Loftus Road last weekend saw Roofe move into a centre forward position and the 24-year-old left London with the match ball after hitting a second-half hat-trick – his second treble for the Whites from that role in all competitions this season.
Such an achievement surely means that it’s Roofe’s shirt to lose, but the former Oxford United man has already impressed up front this season and soon found himself back on the wing to facilitate Lasogga.
Christiansen might have frustrated him back in September by playing Lasogga up front ahead of him in the 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, despite Roofe scoring from a striking role in the previous game at Cardiff.

Roofe, who arrived as a striker 18 months ago, has been very patient and very professional during his lengthy wait for regular chances up front, and denying him again to favour Lasogga would be truly ludicrous under the circumstances.
If scoring a second-half hat-trick isn’t enough to convince Christiansen of his qualities up front then what will?
