The Villa talent had also been linked with Derby County and QPR; whilst Pescara also want Mirco Antenucci.
This week it was reported that three Championship sides were interested in snapping up Jack Grealish of Aston Villa.
It was reported by the Daily Mail that Leeds United, QPR and Derby County were keen on signing the player on loan this month.
Grealish, considered one of the Premier League’s top talents, has struggled to find consistency this season amid off-field issues.
Leeds, QPR and Derby would have all craved his impressive signature – but it seems that Villa are not willing to let him go.
At least according to Leeds United boss Steve Evans.
He is quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post as stating:
“I’ve been told by Villa that he’s not available and won’t be leaving.”
That seems fairly cut-and-dry – Villa will not be allowing Grealish to join Leeds, QPR or Derby this month.
This will only come as a small blow to fans of the Championship sides, who likely figured that the rumour would not emerge as something concrete.
In other news for Leeds United another Italian side is said to be interested in striker Mirco Antenucci. The Italian is out of contract in the summer and now Rete8 is reporting that Pescara are also keen on signing the Leeds striker.
