Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom suggests that Samu Saiz won’t start tomorrow.

Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom has refused to comment on whether Samu Saiz will start tomorrow night’s visit to Derby County.
The Spanish maestro is available again after serving a six-match ban for spitting in an FA Cup defeat at Newport County toward the beginning of January.
Losing the 27-year-old has been a massive blow for Leeds’ promotion bid, with the Whites failing to win any of their six Championship games without him – losing four and drawing two.

And Heckingbottom has hinted that he might only start on the bench.
Asked whether Saiz would go straight into the frist XI, he told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “He’s had a long time out missing six games.

“We have been with him now for two weeks so he’s had lots of extra sessions with Berra and Coops as well so they have been doing all they can, getting pushed and they have performed well in that because they have been pushed.
“And I know there have been some sore limbs as well in the days after and we have then looked after them.”
Ideally, Leeds need the summer signing to hit the ground running.
They are 11th in the Championship and eight points adrift of the top six, so they’re going to need Saiz – and indeed every other Leeds player – to start impressing…..and fast.
