Leeds United’s Yosuke Ideguchi has made very little impact since making the move to Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa has suggested to Leeds Live that Yosuke Ideguchi could still leave Leeds United before the end of the transfer window.

Ideguchi was brought to Leeds last season, but promptly loaned out, much to many Whites fans’ disappointment.

The midfielder lost his place in the Japanese national team and barely featured at Leonesa on his failed loan spell.

Ideguchi has now returned to Leeds, but Bielsa is yet to use him in the first-team this season.

And the Argentine boss admits that no decision has been made over Ideguchi’s future yet.

Yosuke Ideguchi of Japan (R) looks on during the international friendly match between Japan and Ghana at Nissan Stadium on May 30, 2018 in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.

He said: “We haven’t made a decision yet. By the end of August the club will take the best decision for the player.”

The 21-year-old actually scored a brilliant goal in Leeds’ under-23’s last match against Coventry City, but still did not do enough to feature in the Carabao Cup last night.

Leeds’ first-team kept up their winning run by beating Bolton Wanderers in the cup competition.
