Liam Cooper will not be in action for Leeds United against Brentford, suggests Marcelo Bielsa.

Cooper did not feature for Leeds against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road in the Championship last weekend after picking up a muscle injury just before the game.
The 27-year-old central defender did not play for the Whites in their 2-1 loss at the hands of Wigan Athletic at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has suggested that the former Hull City defender may not be ready to face Brentford away from home at Griffin Park in the Championship on Monday evening.
Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked if Cooper will be fit for Monday’s match: “No, I don’t think so.”

Disappointing update
Cooper is the captain of Leeds and is a key member of Bielsa’s team, and it is disappointing that the defender may miss out on the match against Brentford on Monday evening.
While Gaetano Berardi has done well in his absence, the 27-year-old does have a strong partnership with Pontus Jansson at the heart of the Leeds defence.
Leeds are third in the Championship table at the moment with 82 points from 43 matches, level on points with second-placed Sheffield United and five points behind leaders Norwich City.
