Pablo Hernandez was not in action for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United against Birmingham City.

Hernandez, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, did not play for Leeds in their Championship game against Birmingham at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
The 34-year-old former Swansea City and Valencia star was in action for the Leeds Under-23 side against their Birmingham counterparts on Friday evening.
Ahead of Saturday’s match, Leeds head coach Bielsa told The Yorkshire Evening Post that the Spaniard will be part of the squad for the game against Birmingham at Elland Road, and he has explained the decision to omit him from the squad.
Bielsa told LeedsLive: “Yesterday, we planned for him to play 30 minutes with the under-23s. Today, he was going to be one of the substitutes.
“He displayed in 30 minutes, but after he didn’t feel 100 per cent. For this reason, we prefer not to risk him and wait longer to analyse what happened to make him feel uncomfortable.
“He didn’t have any problem with the previous injury, but after he feels something in the back of his leg. In the hamstring.”

Worry for Leeds United?
It was sensible from Bielsa not to include Hernandez in the squad on Saturday afternoon, but it will be a worry that he is injured again.
The Spaniard was only just making a comeback from a muscular injury on Friday evening, and the Elland Road faithful will hope that it is not serious, and that the attacking midfielder is back on the pitch soon.
