Kemar Roofe played for Leeds United against Stoke City and Derby County in the Championship.

Roofe was in action for Leeds against Stoke at Elland Road in their opening game of the 2018-19 Championship campaign.
The 25-year-old, who can also operate as a winger or as a striker, also featured for the West Yorkshire outfit against Derby County away from home at the Pride Park Stadium in the league this past weekend.
The Englishman has been superb for the Whites in both of their matches, as the striker has scored two goals.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has explained why Roofe has started each of the team’s first two league fixtures of the season and ahead of summer signing Patrick Bamford against Stoke.
Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked what convinced Bielsa to start Roofe at Stoke over Bamford after the match against Derby: “Kemar Roofe worked more time with us. We have some mechanism that make the collective play easier and the thing that is important is the individual performance.
“But there is interaction between the individual performance and the collective performance. They are mutually necessary.
“So I see how each player develops in these two aspects – individual and collective – and in this aspect, Kemar Roofe has an advantage of 40 days.”

Strong start
Roofe has made a strong start to the season and so have Leeds, and the Whites are clearly among the top sides in the Championship in terms of the playoffs.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Roofe – who has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Oxford United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £3 million – scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 27 Championship starts for the Whites, according to WhoScored.
