Leeds United are in a good moment following successive wins.

Garry Monk has revealed to The Yorkshire Post what he told his Leeds United players after Saturday’s 2-0 win at Cardiff City.
Second-half goals from Chris Wood and Pablo Hernandez gave Leeds a hard-fought three points in the Welsh capital.

It was the Whites’ second successive Championship win following their 2-1 victory at home to Blackburn Rovers seven days ago – the first time in Monk’s short reign that United picked up back-to-back wins.
Suddenly, there is a different mood about Leeds, who previously had one Championship win in six outings, and the 38-year-old reveals that he stressed the importance of maintaining momentum to his troops after the result in South Wales.
“We have to fight to keep the momentum going. “That takes a lot of focus and a really good attitude,” he told reporters via The Yorkshire Post.

“That was my message after the game on Saturday. It will be the same message before this game.”
Leeds can pick up a third straight win this evening if they beat Blackburn in the League Cup visit to Elland Road. Three on the spin would be fantastic and really set them up well to extend their winning streak in Saturday’s visit of Ipswich Town.
