Leeds United are set to take on Norwich City in EFL Cup action later this evening.
Garry Monk has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he is pleased that Leeds United are set to be backed by a large amount of fans during their EFL Cup match against Norwich City.
Leeds had less than 10,000 supporters in attendance at their game against Preston North End in the last round of the cup competition.
However, tickets for Leeds’ match against Norwich have sold much more frequently, and there is expected to be a large amount of fans at Elland Road this evening.
“We are very happy to have a big crowd. The atmosphere is going to be great,” Monk said.

Both Leeds and Norwich are expected to make a number of changes to their teams tonight, as Monk and Alex Neil look to avoid fatiguing their squads.
The Whites head into the fixture in good form, having won six of their last nine matches.

Leeds won on their last outing against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux, meaning they had into the contest with momentum on their side.
Norwich, meanwhile, were beaten by Preston North End last weekend.
Leeds made it to this stage of the competition by beating Luton Town and Preston.
